A guesthouse located in Dolsan, Yeosu

This is a review of Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Dolsan Yeosu.

Room Type

I booked the Deluxe Twin Half Ocean (partial ocean view).

There were so many room types, it was confusing. There wasn't a detailed explanation anywhere, so it was a bit disappointing, but

I was able to book at a cheaper price because I used the 2023 Accommodation Sale Festa discount of 50,000 won and 30,000 won.

When I paid after the discount, it was in the late 100,000 won range per night.

Room Review

TV

It moved well left and right. It wasn't that big, but it wasn't too small for two people to watch.

Free bottled water provided

They provided 2 bottles of water for free, which was nice.

Sink + amenities + cups
There was a sink, which was unusual. It was convenient to have one person use the sink when two people wanted to wash up at the same time.

There were cups and tea varieties (dondure tea, brown rice green tea), but we didn't use them.

Entrance to the room

There is a clothes hanger, a small safe, a fire extinguisher, a robe, a shoehorn, and slippers at the entrance.

Bathroom

The bathroom is a decent size for two people to use, not too small or too big.

The towels were not too old, which was good. The hand wash was also attached to the wall, so it was easy to use.

A bidet was also installed, of course.

The shower room has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a body wash dispenser attached to the wall.

It's a push-type dispenser.

Personally, I find it more convenient to use a wall-mounted dispenser than to open a lid.
Also, dispensers are better for the environment than plastic containers.

The shower pressure was good.

Bed

Since it was a twin room, 2 beds were provided,

one was larger.

The bedding was very comfortable, so I slept like a log.

Personally, I prefer slightly heavier blankets (because I fall asleep easily, lol) and I slept well.

Desk

The desk has a small lamp, mirror, and tissues.

I usually do my makeup at the desk, and it was convenient because everything I need (chair + mirror + lamp + tissues) was all in one place.

Window view

The pictures are a bit dark because it was a bit dark that day, but

Even though it was a half ocean view, you could see the ocean well, so it was refreshing and I was able to enjoy the ocean view.

This is what it looks like when you wake up in the morning and look out the window from the bed.

The sun was shining and the ocean stretched out, so I just sat there for a while and stared.

Corridor window view

It's a half ocean view, just like the window view in the room, lol.

Lobby

There were so many people checking in that I had to wait a bit, but

the lobby was spacious and there were plenty of places to sit, so it was worth the wait.

Other provided items

It seems like this was only offered at that time, but Ramada had a busking event, so they gave us a lucky draw coupon and

several other discount coupons.

And the much-anticipated swimming pool

The swimming pool fee was 15,000 won. It said re-entry was 50% off, and we only went in once, so we didn't try the re-entry.

Swimming caps are required. Baseball caps are also allowed.

How fun would it be to float in the pool while looking at the ocean!

It was the holiday season, so there were a lot of kids, but the pool was bigger than I thought, so it wasn't uncomfortable.

There were also two toddler pools.

The infinity pool is this size.

When you lie down on the sunbed, you can see the pool, the ocean in the distance, and the small islands.

It's a very refreshing feeling. I enjoyed the ocean and the island views.

There are also tables to sit and eat.

They had life jackets, but I'm not sure if you have to pay to rent them.

Personally, I think it's worth the 15,000 won to enjoy it.

The pool was bigger than I expected, and it was great to be able to swim in the water with the ocean and islands in the background.

Oh, and if you're coming with a child, there's a zipline, so you might want to try it out.

We were too scared, so we didn't ride it, lol.
