As the title suggests, I make automation programs for productivity improvement.

I have been developing work systems in the logistics field for a long time and I am still developing them. My main job is to solve customer requirements, but for the past 5-6 years, I have been doing a lot of RPA-related work, and recently I have been doing a lot of AI-related work. RPA has been around for a long time and its effectiveness has been proven. I thought it was a job that didn't get good feedback even though I solved customer requirements for a long time. It's because customers think that it is basic to solve problems with the system for people they hired with money. However, by introducing RPA, I often received feedback saying "thank you" for helping customers with their work and even preventing them from doing it. The big picture of solving customer requirements hasn't changed. What has changed is whether you have solved the problem by listening to the customer's requirements and going beyond that to make it possible to not see the problem. 

Everyone has simple, repetitive, and tiring tasks. You need to leverage these tasks well to progress further. Since it's about leverage, the immediate action is to pass on my work to someone else. I think providing internship and probation periods is similar. However, if you keep passing it on, you may feel insecure that your work will decrease and your position will be taken away. But you must keep in mind that you can only rise higher if you overcome that insecurity and leverage it. 

If you have someone who can do your work instead of you, try to pass it on. It is quite difficult to pass work on well, so it is important to experience it. Most companies lack human resources, so there will be no one to pass work on to. However, hiring someone to do your work instead of you also needs a good reason. So, should I just keep doing what I'm doing now? Instead, I recommend that you consider an automated program. Imagine yourself lightly instructing the tasks you are doing and reviewing the results. In that imagination, the person who receives instructions and performs them becomes a program. It would be more appropriate to think of it as a robot secretary depicted in many movies.
