We decided to go on a trip with our family to clear our heads.

My father was too busy (he said he would go on a golf trip to the Philippines later...).

So my mother, younger brother, and I joined forces to begin our adventurous(?) Fukuoka family trip.

We thought we would be late since it was an afternoon flight anyway, but it was a mistake.

It took more than 30 minutes to just check in our luggage.

After checking in our luggage and ticketing, we toured the duty-free shops.

Naka River

This is the Naka district in Fukuoka.

After going through Japanese immigration and riding the subway, we arrived at our accommodation.

By the way, I thought I was riding a roller coaster because of the turbulence on the plane.

This is a place near our accommodation, and it is said to be the Yatai (food stall) street.

The night view is beautiful. I want to go again.

Canal City can be seen in the distance. What I like about Fukuoka is that it's convenient to go to other places quickly.

It is also easy to get around by subway.

Ichiran Ramen

I tried the local dish, tonkotsu ramen.

As expected, there was a long line at Ichiran Ramen...

But we got in surprisingly quickly.

By the way, you can only eat on the second floor. What I mean is that there is no restaurant on the floor where you line up.

It was salty and greasy, but I ate it well. I wanted to drink the broth, but I thought I would throw it up if I did.

I also had two beers, and I felt it coming up because I was tired.

I fell asleep with the Tenjin Central Park behind the accommodation and the beautiful building next to it as my backdrop.
