Singer Gain is a "rebooting audition program that helps singers who need another chance to stand in front of the public again." Through this program, unidentified singers were able to get on stage and sing, receiving encouragement from many people. So, I will introduce you to how Singer Gain 3 was conducted and what the final result was!

Singer Gain 3 consists of a total of 4 rounds, semi-finals, and finals. This time, a total of 77 singers participated. Each of them participated with a number and keyword instead of their name, ranging from No. 1 to No. 77. Hong I-sak, who won, was the No. 58 singer who "wanted to know the expiration date", and So Su-bin, who came in second, was the No. 49 singer who was "easy". Through these keywords, we can see what kind of feelings and background each participant had when they participated. I thought it was a really good concept. So, I will tell you how each round went!

Round 1: In the group survival battle, the teams were divided into groups. They competed in the following groups: The Master of the Unknown, the Sugarman group, the Real Unknown group, the Solo group, the OST group, and the Audition Strongest group. The judges pressed the "Again" button for the contestants who wanted to hear their song again, and the passing and failing were decided. Since this was the first round where the public recognized their faces and voices, most contestants chose songs that could show their individuality. There were songs that we had heard many times before, and some people who were already famous even though their faces were not known.

Round 2: In the team competition, teams were formed and competed against each other. It seemed like there were many good stages where we could feel the richness when they sang together.

Round 3: In the rivalry battle, they were put in a situation where they had to compete by choosing their rivals. There were teams that had shown good chemistry as a team before, but they also competed as rivals, making the experience both exciting and disappointing. Still, it seemed like they showed good performances.

Round 4: The TOP 10 decision battle. 4 people formed a team, and the top 2 from each team automatically advanced to the TOP 10. It was the moment when the TOP 10 was decided with 8 people in the top ranks and 2 people in the loser revival battle. If you advance to the TOP 10, you will have a naming ceremony. It is meaningful because you can reveal your name and sing your own song.

Semifinal: In the TOP 6 decision battle, we were able to see a really fierce competition along with the naming ceremony. It was supposed to be only 6 people who survived, but the judges suggested TOP 7 to the production team because the competition was so fierce. Ultimately, TOP 7 was formed instead of TOP 6.

Final: It was conducted in two parts. The first part was a new song mission where composers composed songs and the contestants sang them. Points were totaled from the judge's score, music chart playback, YouTube views/likes. The second part was a cover mission where points were totaled from real-time text voting, online pre-voting, and the judge's score. Ultimately, the final result was based on 30% of Round 1 + 60% of Round 2 + 10% of online pre-voting. It seemed difficult to predict the winner because the point calculation method was complicated and the results were not announced in real time.

The final result was Hong I-sak in 1st place, So Su-bin in 2nd place, Lee Zel in 3rd place, Shin Hae-sol in 4th place, Lee Jin in 5th place, Kang Sung-hee in 6th place, and Chu Seung-yeop in 7th place. Now, let's find out what benefits are given. First of all, the TOP 10 have the opportunity to participate in a nationwide tour concert. And the TOP 3 are given 1 year of management, a sofa, and a 30 million won prize money. The 1st place winner also receives a 300 million won prize money. It's a really amazing benefit, right? It seems like a great opportunity to be able to perform together in a concert just by being in the TOP 10.

The Singer Gain competition, which lasted for a full 3 months on broadcast, has come to an end. Finally, I would like to tell you about the charm of Singer Gain, which I felt as an avid viewer who watched Singer Gain 3 every week. First of all, it doesn't encourage excessive competition. Due to the nature of the competition program, excessive competition structures are created or evil editing is done to achieve high ratings and interest. Of course, it's true that you have to compete due to the nature of the program, but I felt comfortable because it seemed like they were trying to unfold it as naturally as possible. It was also fun to see the human side of the judges. ㅎㅎ

Second, it was not only about the song, but also about telling the stories of each contestant sincerely. Knowing what process they went through to participate in Singer Gain, and why they decided to participate, made the song feel more authentic.

And finally, I was a little surprised. They didn't give all the prize money to the 1st place winner. Usually, audition programs only give prize money to the winner, but in Singer Gain, they give a considerable amount of prize money and goods to the 2nd and 3rd place winners as well. I think I felt a little different when I saw that.
