This is the resignation letter form that must be submitted when leaving a company.

Overview

A resignation letter is a document that you submit to your company to inform them that you are leaving your position. In other words, you can think of it as a document stating your intent to quit.
However, just because you submit a resignation letter doesn't mean you can leave the company immediately.

If the employer approves the resignation letter, the effects will start from the date of approval. However, if the employer does not approve it, it will take effect after one month from the date of submission.

This is stipulated in Article 660 of the Civil Code.

Required Items for a Resignation Letter

• Name, Date of Birth (It's important to include your date of birth for clear identification as there are many people with the same name)
• Affiliation (Company name you belong to)
• Position (Some companies may not have positions, so this is not mandatory)
• Resignation Date (This is mandatory as it is confirmed by the Ministry of Employment and Labor)
• Reason for Resignation (This is also confirmed by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. There are various reasons, including transfers, voluntary resignation, recommended resignation, dismissal, etc.)
• Date of Resignation Letter Submission (This is mandatory because the employer may not approve it)
• Signature and Seal of the Submitting Party

How to Modify

• Modify the file by moving it to [My Drive] using [File] → [Make a copy].

• Download the file as a Word document by selecting [File] → [Download]. However, the file may be corrupted.

How to Edit the Resignation Letter

• You need to modify the yellow area. You can consider it almost entirely editable^^;
• You don't have to fill out any other information. You can fill it out if you need to add something.
• Don't forget to add your official seal(=stamp).
• Once you've finished editing, change the background color of the text to white.

Tip. When adding a stamp to the file, you can do so by clicking on [Insert] → [Image] → [Insert image on top of the cell] and inserting the stamp.
