Even if you don't have these purposes, it's good to develop a sense of the length of the document if you are practicing writing regularly.
 
One A4 sheet is about [7 pages of manuscript paper, 1,400 characters] .
 
This is the length calculated when starting a new page without any settings in the Hangeul program. In other words, it's based on the paper margin (top 20.0 mm bottom 15.0mm header 15.0mm footer 15.0mm left 30.0mm right 30.0mm binding 0.0mm) + the base font + Hamchorong font + font size 10 pt + line spacing 160%.
 
Of course, the number of manuscript pages and characters will change depending on the settings you make for your A4 paper, such as margins, font, font size, and line spacing. Therefore, if you need accurate measurements, please use the following methods.
  
■ If you are using the Hangeul (HWP) program, you can easily find out the number of characters by checking the [File] > [Document Information] > [Document Statistics] tab in the menu.
 
■ You can also find out the number of characters using the Saramin website's character counter / spell checker. It includes spaces, excludes spaces, and even calculates byte size, and it also automatically corrects simple typos, so you can use it conveniently.
